Buses: Stagecoach services 201, 204 and 206 stop almost outside the pub. These provide links with Manchester, Denton, Haughton Green, Hattersley and the Hyde Road corridor. Numerous other buses call at Hyde bus station, a short walk from the pub. Regular services run to Stockport, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge and a host of other local places.
Trains: The nearest station to the Cheshire Ring is Hyde Central on the Marple (Rose Hill) to Manchester Piccadilly line. The last trains are as follows: 20.45 (20.43 on Saturdays) towards Romiley and Marple. and 21.24 towards Guide Bridge and Manchester. There is no Sunday service. Trains run later, more frequently and 7 days a week from Flowery Fields station, between 10 and 15 minutes walk from the Cheshire Ring.
